Dear Parents

Our team have decades of experience working with teenagers. All volunteers are all Queensland Blue Card Holders and Child Safe Australia Certified. We also have a first aider on-site every week. Your child's safety is of the utmost importance to our team. If you have any questions or want to speak with our Program Director, please click the email link button and arrange a call.

Heartbeatz aims to be a transformative experience for your child. The music business can be tricky, so we aim to equip with the skills to navigate tough situations. The best part is that these life skills are entirely transferable- at home, school and in the community so we expect that you will see positive changes.

Apart from seeing your child's confidence grow from completing our music projects, we focus on building life-changing character traits and habits. We explore the importance of attitude, respect, honesty, value, hard work and focus. In building music together, we build a sense for considering others, the importance of community, our families and our own lives. Music is often felt spiritually, so we explore that too. The aim is to have teenagers thinking outside of themselves to see a bigger picture, that what they do has impact in the world- every choice, every interaction- it matters.

Something that we also provide each week is food so please let us know if your child has any dietary requirements and we will accommodate them.

Heartbeatz is free for participants thanks to the kind donations of corporate and community partners.

Heartbeatz is made possible by support from our community and corporate partners which include
